Prima Moda Brides of Ilminster, owned by Jean Pas, is renowned for its unique gowns with the latest designs coming in on a regular basis. They take time to listen to clientele and offer help and support to find the gown which is right – allowing each bride to obtain her individual look.

Jean explains “we encourage brides and the bridal party to try different styles with their venue in mind, i.e. beach weddings may require a different style and fabric from a traditional ceremony. This can be a fun experience, especially as we can provide the entire stunning picture by offering to dress the hair when choosing a bespoke tiara and adding and veil and jewellery, which delights our clients.”

The shop provides a generous amount of space for the gowns to be seen at their full advantage, when being chosen. It has a natural light area which is important to consider when choosing fabrics and colour to suit you. Also the large mirrored changing rooms are a great advantage to every bride.

The window displays are changed regularly as Jean understands how important window shopping is and she has had many complimentary comments on how beautifully her stunning gowns are displayed.

Prima Moda Brides has a very loyal team, with Irene Morris, Memento Tiaras, Sarah Jackson, couture, Les Hallett and Laura Tucker from Suited can supply menswear. Sue Hallett and Laura Tucker are seamstresses. If you require, Laura and Sue also offer a made to measure service especially for bridesmaids.
